Here in Kalamata, Messinia,

we feel very blessed and lucky to live in an area of such deep roots in olive oil tradition.
The archaeological findings show a blooming olive oil trade, dating back to the years of the Trojan War (almost 1500 BC).
Large Big old clay “tanks”, at list 3500 years old have been discovered, where the olive oil was stored before being put in clay pots and then exported to all the known destinations around the Mediterranean Sea, and beyond. Archaeologists are still finding pots in numerous sea wrecks…
This origin is a valuable starting point, now enriched with the scientific research of the last few decades.
The outcome? Something very precious…

It is well known that the Mediterranean Diet is arguably the best to human health and olive oil is the base of this diet.
The “Koroneiki” olive tree variety is a real gift for people because, not only does it have delicious tastes and aromas, but it is full of anti oxidant, anti aging and anti inflammatory factors, as proven by recent research (Davis University of California)
